Idle Fire Station

Sadly Idle Fire Station is due to close and be demolished in the name of progress and cutbacks. Many of the brave Fire Fighters and Support Staff that have worked here have fond memories of the place.  I worked at Idle as a Station Clerk for nearly 8 years and its sad to see it end like this.  We had good times and bad times here.  Much laughter, some tears and most importantly good camaraderie and hot mugs of tea.  Idle Fire Station won't be forgotten.  I hope this drawing does Idle proud.
