This is a drawing of the Iron Age House at Bosta, Great Bernera, Isle of Lewis. The house is a reconstruction of the orginal house that was uncovered by a storm in 1993 and is part of an Iron Age Village. The Iron Age House is partly underground and the entrance is just behind the end of the stone wall on the right on this drawing. It's an amazing place to visit and the landscape around the house is beautiful, sheltered and secluded. No wonder the iron age people chose this place to make their home. I've choosen a slighly different angle for this drawing then the usual images you can find of the house which are from the side as I wanted to include the beautiful seaview.
(The image of the drawing is darker than the original. I will try and get a better image and load this up soon. But at least it gives an idea of what it looks like.)
